After The Execution

At the midnight of last Saturday, 8th November 2008, three 'so called' heroes of their supporter was executed by Indonesian government. The death execution has give so many pros and contras. Some think that it is right as it has followed the legal positive laws in Indonesia, some think that it has 'offend' the human rights and this death of those bomber might rise a bigger scale, if not the same, of Islamic extremists and radicals action not only in Indonesia, but also across the globe.

Why suddenly there is a rise of radicalism among Indonesian Muslims?
The rise of radicalism Muslim was started when Indonesia sunk into the so called free and democratic country which i personally think it is still not the right time for Indonesia to have full democracy after the 1998 clashed because the level of education and economy in this country was not 'ripe' enough(the level of education was not still equal in various province) to sustain the 'attacks' from outside like, for example radicalism and fundamentalism.

Before the 1998, there was absolutely zero legal radical movement in Indonesia because the government was very strict on it. In contrast, now in Indonesia the radicals islamic 'legal' organization was formed and the teachings of unprecedented Islamic sects swarmed Indonesia, brain washing the belief of muslims in Indonesia. Some of these organization were FPI, and HMI. Even more fretting, the movement of this so called Islamic radicalism has moved inside the government and house of representative. There is also an attempt to change Indonesia's Pancasila which gave every citizens in Indonesia a same equal rights to do their cultural and spiritual belief according to the positive laws in Indonesia to an Islamic charter called Madina Charter. Those political parties who support the ideas of changing the constitution was usually come from 'wahabian' islamic parties and some others who reportedly received funds from Arabian countries (this report was not confirmed but merely a rumour spreading on internet)

Will indonesia become an Islamic countries which is the aims of those radicalism movement? (you can see the videos of their teachings on youtube)
The answer lies on your hand. 2009 election. You decide our future.
