Kawah Putih (White Crater) located at tinggi raja ( around 2 hour drive from Medan City) is one of the must go nature travelling destination in North Sumatera.
Though the access road to the location is not good because lack of government attention, it has not deter many domestic tourist to visit the site. It is not recommended to go during rainy weather because the road can get quite slippery.
Tinggi raja local people might ask to take us around the crater, and as a return they ask for a fee.
To take picture, they will also ask for a fee which is not much, around Rp 2000 per person per spot.
