What's with World Cup and Indonesia? ok, we have to acknowledge that Indonesia has hardly ever entered even the qualifying stage of World Cup Competition. But this is not about that issue. The issue that amused me the most is the ambition of Indonesian Football Governing Body to bid as a host for World Cup. At first, i thought they are just making sensational story to spice the league up a bit and create and image that they are doing "something".
But, to my surprise, they are not joking about it. They have contacted the Chelsea Interim Manager as well as Russia National Team Coach, Mr. Guus Hiddink. A team of Indonesian negotiatior has contacted Mr. Hiddink to negotiate for a contract starting from 2010 which said to be worth 96 Billion Rupiah per year (around 9.6 Million US Dollar per year).
