Here i am stuck in sampit airpot, H. ASAN, with three friends of mine due to change of flight schedule without prior information from the airlines.
I have spend one and a half month in central kalimantan / borneo with my friends and were expecting this home flight so much. We have prebooked the flight on 27 november 2013 on fear that we might not get a ticket.
This morning we woke up early at around 5.30 am to get prepared and have a breakfast. We stayed at Idola Hotel in Sampit. At around 7, we have finished and checked out from the hotel. Our collegue take us to airport using the old rustic office car. It tooks around 30 mins to reach the airport
Upon arriving, we stood in front of the airport because it has not opened yet. The office hours start at 8 am here.
While waiting we took a look at the flight information screen. We were shocked to find out that out flight that was supposedly fly at 8.50 am was changed to 11 am. We went to the info4mation counter to ask but the guy there ignorantly reply us saying he didnt know.
We then walked to an officer asking him. He told us the flight has been changed to 11 am since few weeks ago. We were devastated. We then go to the canteen to have a drink and waste our time.
This is very annoying. It's either the airline didnt inform us or our travel agent didnt told us.
